How Supa Kiba Began
Kiba started as a little side character I drew while running my previous brand, Hype Nation. Just a grinning face throwing a peace sign.
At first, he was never meant to become anything serious — just something fun I made on the side. But every time people saw him, they smiled. And honestly, I did too.
In a weird way, Kiba brought out a feeling I hadn’t felt in a long time. He felt lighthearted, comforting, and real. The more I created him, the more I realised he was connecting with people in a way that went beyond just design.
There was something different about Kiba. Even from the beginning, I knew he was meant to be more than just a side character. He never truly fit within Hype Nation. The more I created him, the more I realised he needed his own space, his own story, and eventually, his own brand.
That feeling stayed with me. It reminded me that even on heavy days, small things can still make people smile. And sometimes, that’s enough to change everything.
So I took the leap. I left Hype Nation behind to create something deeper — a brand with real heart, meaning, and purpose.
That’s how Supa Kiba was born.
What Kiba Means
For a long time, Kiba didn’t even have a name. He was just a little character that kept appearing in my designs.
But as he grew, I realised he needed an identity of his own.
That’s when the name Kiba came.
Kiba means “fangs” in Japanese — a symbol of quiet strength, resilience, and protection. And in a strange way, it perfectly matched the character: calm, comforting, playful, but still strong.
Over time, Kiba became more than just a character. He became the heart of the brand — a reminder to slow down, smile more, and appreciate the little moments in life.
Supa Kiba was created to bring comfort, positivity, and good energy into everyday life — even during the heavy days. Through Kiba, I hope people can find peace, nostalgia, and small moments of happiness in what they wear and collect.
Because sometimes, the smallest things make the biggest difference.
